Eli's dedication

Sunday, September 9th, 2012 we dedicated Elijah to our Lord and Savior. It is such a special day for us as a family. Samuel went on stage with us but unfortunately wouldn't stay still. All he wanted and kept saying was "nack" because he saw me eat fruit snacks on the way to church. OOPs. We chose Ephesians 1:18-19a for his verse, "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." Eli did great in the service. This day is so special to me because we present Eli in front of our church family to raise Eli in a christian home and be example to him. It also allows for our church family to keep us accountable and help us as we raise Elijah.

Family and friends joined us for brunch following the service at The Cheesecake Factory and I made some blue cross cookies with his verse attached to the bag (I didn't take a picture of these)

My little man is growing up so quickly!
