This past weekend we celebrated Samuel's baby dedication. On Sunday March 6, 2011 we stood before our church congregation and presented Sam to the church vowing to raise him in a Godly household and teach him all about our Lord Jesus Christ. We had family in town all weekend to help us celebrate and it was a wonderful time, with the exception that Sam was way too overstimulated and wouldn't sleep (that makes for one tired mommy). Paul and I chose Deuteronomy 31:6 for our verse which is "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” I pray that Sam will learn to know that at a young age and with put his trust in the Lord.
